Hate Speech Policy

Portraits provides an outlet for thoughtful discourse. Any piece which inhibits or is hateful towards a person or group will be promptly rejected. We will adhere to Purdue’s guidelines on community speech. These allow for the restriction of expression which, “violates the law, that falsely defames a specific individual, that constitutes a genuine threat or harassment, that unjustifiably invades substantial privacy or confidentiality interests.”

hard to master.”
